A warm “Greetings” to all our loyal clients for over the last 30 years. 

We regret to inform you that “Greg Nicol Guide Service” will be closing effective immediately.  Unfortunately Greg’s health will not let him be making memories of fishing trips any longer.  The time to say goodbye to everyone is upon us a lot sooner that we ever would have thought.  So many of our clients have turned into friendships, and we value each friend that we have made over the years.

We would like to take this time to personally thank you for your past business, and allowing us to take you fishing.  It truly was a pleasure working with you, your families, co-workers, friends, relatives, fishing buddies, and loved ones to make enjoyable fishing memories of which last a lifetime.

If there is anything we can do to find you a fishing guide for your upcoming trips, please give us a call and we will try to help you out.  Also, please give Greg a call and tell him about your current trips or just to visit and say “Hello”.  He will really enjoy chatting and staying in touch with you, and hearing your fishing stories! Greg has been blessed to be able to do what he loves to do, for a career, and to get paid for it. Not everyone is fortunate enough to get to “work” at what they love to do.  He has been fishing and guiding for over 30 years!  Greg’s folks owned and operated a fishing lodge and business when he was just a toddler on the Mattole River in northern California.  Greg’s mother ran the lodge as a single mother of two children for years after he lost his father.  I guess we can say “Fishing” is in Greg’s blood.

If Greg’s health gets better, please look for us on the rivers doing some fun fishing of our own.
